Are travel quotes free?
I offer a complimentary 15-minute travel consultation to learn more about your trip, discuss your preferences, and understand what you're looking for. After our call, I'll confirm the appropriate planning fee based on your trip's needs and complexity. Once payment is received, I'll begin researching personalized options just for you.
Travel With Lu Planning Fees:
$75 | Standard Vacation Planning: All-inclusive resorts, straightforward cruises, and single-destination vacations.
$175 | Custom International Planning: International vacations requiring additional research and coordination.
$200 | Complex or Multi-City Planning: Multi-city, multi-country, and more customized itineraries.
$250+ | Honeymoon Planning: Personalized honeymoon research and planning.
$350-$500+ | Destination Weddings & Group Travel: Fees depend on the number of travelers, rooms, and the level of coordination required. Groups of 10 or more travelers require a customized fee.
All applicable fees will be confirmed before planning begins. Planning fees are non-refundable once planning has commenced and are separate from the cost of your vacation.
What happens after I request a quote?
Once you submit your travel inquiry, we’ll schedule a complimentary consultation call to discuss your trip, preferences, and travel needs. After our call, I’ll confirm your planning fee and send you a payment link. Once payment is received, I’ll begin researching options tailored to your trip. For most vacations, you can expect to receive your personalized quotes within 2-3 business days. More complex itineraries may require additional time, which I’ll communicate with you upfront.
Why should I book with you instead of online?
Booking a vacation is about more than finding a good deal. You want to know you’re choosing the right resort, getting the best fit for your needs, and not overlooking important details. That’s where I come in! As your Travel Agent, I use my firsthand travel experiences, industry knowledge, and personalized research to help you find the right options for your trip. I take the guesswork out of planning, help you feel confident in your decisions, and make sure you have someone in your corner before, during, and after your trip.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Most vacations can be booked with flexible payment options, allowing you to make payments over time instead of paying everything upfront. Final payment deadlines vary depending on the supplier.
How far in advance should I book my trip?
Ideally 6-12 months in advance for the best pricing and availability, especially for cruises and all-inclusive resorts. I can also assist with last-minute travel when options are available.
Can you help me choose the right resort or destination?
Yes! That’s one of the biggest parts of what I do. I match you with resorts and destinations based on your budget, travel style, and the experience you’re looking for.
Can you help with flights, transfers, and extras?
Yes. I can assist with flights (especially when packaged), airport transfers, excursions, and other trip add-ons so everything is organized before you travel.
What if something goes wrong during my trip?
If anything comes up while you’re traveling, I’m your point of contact. I help handle changes, issues, or disruptions so you’re not stuck figuring it out alone.
